We hired a dude to finish our basement. He gave us a bid that was less than half of the other bid that we got. He's going to start on Monday, and says it should take no more than 6 weeks. So we should have it done in time for the baby. We're excited. Yay.

Hooray! I hope he does a good job for you guys! That'll be nice to have that extra space.
That's neat! We changed our mind on how we wanted our basement, so we were glad our person hadn't started yet.
Awesome! That was smart to just pay someone. It was a pain when we tried to do ours. Blech! Can it be a party-pad/softball-gang-hangout prior to the baby?? :-)
